Static and cyclic pressure test bench for pipes and ducts (LifeTube): this test bench performs cyclic water pressure tests on one or more products simultaneously to simulate water hammer or accelerate component ageing. The stress profiles (curves, cycles, sequences) are configurable, with automatic purging and leak monitoring by pressure drop or flow detection.

This test bench is designed to perform cyclic water pressure tests on one or more products simultaneously. It simulates water hammer in piping systems, or tests (accelerated) aging of components. It checks for leaks by pressure drop or flow detection. It can also be used to carry out pressure tests on components subject to specific legislation.
The shape of the load curves can be parameterized. The number of test cycles and their sequence can be programmed.
Air purging is automatic and verified by system stiffness measurement.
The aim of a test is to apply static pressure cycles, according to a trapezoidal profile, in a more or less elastic product.
This sensor optimizes stroke positioning and monitors water volume.
The sink drain is fitted with a drip sensor to stop the test if a leak is detected.
Only 10% of the required instantaneous power is installed.
