Temperature control and test bench for mixing valves/thermostatic cartridges

Main functions

The thermostatic mixing valve/cartridge adjustment and test bench carries out production testing and adjustment of thermostatic mixing valves/cartridges (tightness, flow, anti-scald).

The manual setting and control bench for thermostatic mixing valves/cartridges allows :

• an air and/or water tightness test
• Mixed water temperature and flow rate control
• measurement of mixed water temperature in hot conditions
• flow measurement
• antiscald and hysteresis measurement

Programmable test cycle:

• Mixer/cartridge installation with screwless clamping
• Air and water tightness test
• Mixed temperature setting
• Flow measurement
• Antiscald test (safety test) and hysteresis measurement
• Set position marking (optional)
• Draining and blowing out the mixing valve

Management:

The system is computer-controlled. The software enables :

• editing and selection of test programs
• measurement visualization
• automatic batch control report.

In production mode, the operator controls the bench directly using the buttons on the front panel of the test bench.

Test boards:

The mixing valves or cartridges are mounted on a test plate. The bench can accommodate several different plates, each adapted to a different tap shape. The turntables are equipped with fast connectors, so that the turntable can be changed in a matter of seconds.
